MARTIAL CHAMBER: 10 YEARS OF STORIES ABOUT THE FIRST WORLD WAR (THEATRE, ART, CINEMA)

The project is dedicated to two anniversaries: the 110th anniversary of the start of the First World War and the 10th anniversary of the opening of the “Russia in the Great War” museum in the Martial Chamber (Ratnaya Palata) of Tsarskoye Selo - and is aimed at preserving the historical memory of the events of the First World War, attracting young people to study the history of the country and popularizing museum in the Martial Chamber (Ratnaya Palata).

An important part of the project is a series of film screenings for a wide audience about the events of the First World War, the use of aviation during these years, the art of cinema and the reflection of historical subjects in it. The screenings are accompanied by lectures by historians, film experts and art critics.
