Михаил Сидлин

Curator, critic, expert, art historian, teacher, photographer. In the GUM gallery GUM-Red-Line, hes acted as the curator of the first solo exhibition of Oleg Kulik "Irresponsible Painting" (2019), also he was curator of the dialogue exhibition "Art Battle: Orlitsky vs. Tuzov" (2020), the exhibitions "Pakhom. Les fleurs du.." (2023) and "Farid Bogdalov. The Ninth Wave" (2023). Curator and co-curator of more than 30 solo and group exhibitions of contemporary art and photography since 1993.

Author of more than 50 articles for books and catalogues by various authors, including Vadim Gushchin, Petr Karachentsov, Vladimir Lagrange, Andrey Mitenyov, Tatyana Nazarenko, Yuri Rybchinsky, Olga and Oleg Tatarintsev, Valery and Natalia Cherkashin. Author of several hundred publications in more than 30 Russian and foreign periodicals since 1993.

Teacher at the A. Rodchenko Moscow School of Photography and Multimedia in 2007–2020.
