Director, writer, editor
Rachel is a UK based writer director represented by United Agents. In 2011 she was named by BAFTA as one of the 42 "Brits To Watch" and in 2014 she was selected for Guiding Lights, the UK film industry’s leading mentoring programme. Rachel is an award winning editor who has cut BAFTA nominated feature films and films that have won festivals including Turin Film Festival 2012 and Edinburgh Film Festival 2010 (Best British Feature).
As a writer, Rachel was part of Edinburgh Film Festival Talent Lab 2012, the Script Factory Talent List 2011, and She Writes 2010 (Birds Eye View / Script Factory). In 2013 she wrote and edited FUZZBOX, a comedy for the BBC and wrote and directed EMOTIONAL FUSEBOX, the feature pilot for ADULT LIFE SKILLS, commissioned by the BFI and Creative England. EMOTIONAL FUSEBOX premiered at the 2014 London Film Festival 2014 and received a 2015 BIFA and BAFTA nominations for best short film.
Rachel has a film and a TV series in development with Film4 and Channel 4 in the UK.
