Василий Корецкий

Born in 1975, Moscow. Graduated from the Biological Faculty of Moscow State University. Worked as a junior researcher at the Institute of Protein Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences. In 2001, he began working as a cinematographer in the Weekly Magazine. From 2004 to 2010, he was the editor of the Cinema section of TimeOut magazine. In 2014, he supervised the DPRK Film Program at the International Media Forum in St. Petersburg. He teaches at Pro Arte, the Cultural Journalism School. Since 2012, he is a chief editor of the Cinema section on Colta.ru. Since 2018, he is a senior editor at KinoPoisk.
