Yuriy Palmin

Teacher at the School of Architecture (MARSH)

In 1986, he graduated from the Department of Applied Linguistics of the Philological Faculty of the Moscow State University named after M. V. Lomonosov.

He began his professional career in 1989. He collaborates with contemporary architects and the professional press in Russia and abroad (AD Magazine, Vogue, World Architecture (England), RIBA Journal (England), Icon Magazine (England and the USA), Domus (Italy), Abitare (Italy), Speech (Germany - Russia), Project Russia and others).

He is the author of illustrations for books about contemporary and historical Russian architecture.

He also participates in art projects together with artists Alena Kirtsova, Alexander Brodsky, Vladislav Efimov, Sergei Leontiev - together with Alexander Brodsky he took part in the Venice Architecture Biennale (2006).

Lecturer at the Moscow School of Architecture MARCH, co-founder of the Institute of Modernism (Moscow, 2014).

His works are in the collections of the Museum of Architecture, the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, the Multimedia Art Museum, Moscow and private collections.
