Looking for Negroni

Towards the end of 1919, in one of the many evenings spent at the Caffè Casoni, Count Camillo Negroni asked his bartender friend to add a splash of Gin, rousing the curiosity of the patrons, who from that moment also started to order their “Americano” cocktails in the style of Count Negroni. From there to simply calling the drink “Negroni” was a short and easy step.
