"The Sleeping Beauty" is a ceremonial ballet, crowded, colorful and fabulously beautiful, in a word, a real Imperial Theatre ballet. Charles Perrault hardly suspected that such a fairy tale could be created from his cute, simple fairy tale. But the genius of Tchaikovsky and the talent of choreographers, who added something to the first version in different years, say that aт enchanting spectacle is possible. The fairies endow the little princess with many wonderful qualities, but they cannot protect her from trials. What is a fairy tale without trials?

The main thing is that the fairy tale has a happy ending: the princess finds her happiness; the evil, albeit incredibly charismatic fairy is punished, and the most beloved fairy tale characters dance at the wedding.
