This is an amazing fairy tale where two worlds collide – strict China and romantic Venice. The love story of the cruel beauty Turandot and Prince Calaf is played out with such genuine passion that sometimes you forget that those on stage are just puppets. The huge Moon, Venetian bridges, black expanse of water, gondolas, fans, bells, and, of course, the puppets – real masterpieces – are mesmerizing, for two hours making you forget about everything except what is happening on stage.
