Sabrina Sarabi was born in 1982 in Kassel and is a German-Hungarian-Iranian scriptwriter and director.
She studied Theatre and Film Studies at Utrecht University and film at Academy of Media Arts Cologne. She grew up in Germany and lived in the US, the Netherlands and France. Her short films have been shown and awarded at many international film festivals. She was a resident at Cité Internationale Paris and participant of Berlinale Talents.

PRÉLUDE in 2019 she premiered her second feature, an adaption of the bestselling novel
Niemand ist bei den Kälbern (NO ONE’S WITH THE CALVES), at the prestigious International Film Festival Locarno 2021.
